FIRST LADY MAUREEN GRANT

Maureen Grant was born in Birmingham, England. She spent most of her childhood in Jamaica and moved back to London, England after High School, where she enrolled in Kingsway College and studied Business Law, Accounting and Marketing.

Maureen met her one true love in Jamaica and the long distance relationship continued even after she moved back to London and he migrated to the United States   Maureen worked and went to college in London but her heart was in the United States with her husband. She is the wife of twenty years to Pastor Gary Grant and mother to Ashley (16) and Chelsea (11).

Maureen has taught classes at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Bishop Eddie L. Long, She taught classes to the Women on the Path (WOTP) a women’s ministry at New Birth where the focus was geared to teaching women to become a true Titus 2 woman. She has also worked closely and assisted her husband who was the Director of Evangelism at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church.  Maureen is very passionate about her marriage, marriages on a whole and children and enjoys speaking to women especially wives on their role as mother, wife, and parenting. She has a knack for helping women connect and get beyond the surface.  She served with her husband for two and half years at the Temple of Miracle Worship Center under the leadership of Pastor John A. Simpson III.

Her favorite scripture is 1 Corinthian 13,  and Proverbs 3:5-6, she loves to sing, read and cook.
